BLHeli-S is the latest protocol for high-performance ESC. BLHeli_S 30A ESC offers high-frequency response and fast motor control for drone racing and competition. Can also be easily programmed to output different protocols- Muted mode, Oneshot125, Oneshot42 Multshot and DSHOT. In addition to offering enhanced capabilities such as reversing and often, telemetry, BLHeli_S 30A ESC can have their parameters and features programmed through the flight controller while it is connected to a PC (if the autopilot firmware provides this capability also).

This BLHeli_S 30A ESC pass-through protocol allows you to configure and upgrade your ESCs without having to disconnect them from your vehicle. You can plug a USB cable into your autopilot and run the BLHeli Suite or BLHeliSuite32 software for Windows to configure your ESCs. Most BLHeli ESCs can autodetect if PWM or DShot is selected by the motor protocol parameter set by the user. See the configuration section of DShot Protocol ESCs for more information.

The YRRC 30A ESC is mainly used for RC Drone FPV Racing. BLHeli is an ESC firmware, and BLHeli_S is the 2nd generation after BLHeli.
